telc – The European Language Examinations and Certifications

TELC (The European Language Certificates) is an internationally recognized provider of language examinations and certifications. TELC offers language tests in more than 10 languages, including German, English, French, Spanish, and Italian. It also administers the German Test for Immigrants (DTZ), which is widely accepted for integration and residency purposes in Germany.
All TELC examinations are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), a standardized system developed by the Council of Europe to assess language proficiency. The CEFR defines six language levels, ranging from A1 (Beginner) to C2 (Proficient), and evaluates the four key language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
A TELC certificate provides official proof of your language proficiency and is recognized by employers, educational institutions, and government authorities worldwide. Examinations are available at the following CEFR levels:
